Senior Computer Vision Engineer
Location: London, UK (Hybrid / Flexible)Salary: £70,000 base + OTE up to £140k-£200k in Year 1

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and optimize deep learning algorithms for image and video analysisDevelop and enhance computer vision pipelines using both classical methods (OpenCV) and modern techniques (CNNs, detection/segmentation heads)Train, evaluate, and fine-tune models on large datasets, ensuring performance and accuracy in real-time systemsCurate and preprocess data to maximize training effectivenessDeploy models into production environments and monitor their performanceCollaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver integrated solutionsStay ahead of emerging trends in AI, CV, and ML, experimenting with innovative approaches

Essential experience:
Strong background in Computer Vision and image/video processingHands-on experience with OpenCV pipelines Proficiency with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras)Knowledge of CNN architectures and training dynamicsProven experience deploying and optimizing models for real-time applicationsStrong data science and metrics literacy
Nice to have:
PhD or Master's in Computer Science, AI, or related fieldExperience with sports data, tracking systems, or analytics platformsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker)
