Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Lead

Location: Bristol - 2 days/week
Contract: Until 31/03/2027 (possible extension)
IR35: In Scope
Rate: £600 /day
Clearance: Active SC strongly prefered

We are seeking an experienced RBAC Lead to provide leadership, governance and assurance across a major Defence sector digital transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the RBAC strategy, governance, roadmap and assurance.
• Assure supplier RBAC design against security and architecture standards.
• Ensure least privilege, segregation of duties, auditability and role lifecycle controls.
• Work across business, security, architecture, data, testing and supplier teams.
• Identify and manage RBAC risks, issues, dependencies and exceptions.
• Support access reviews, testing and future operational RBAC processes.
• Challenge supplier designs and provide evidence-based recommendations.

Essential Experience

• Strong experience leading/assuring RBAC and access governance in complex enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of IAM, least privilege, SoD, Secure by Design and access lifecycle management.
• Strong supplier assurance and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Oracle Fusion / ERP experience desirable.
