Head of Client Insight & Business Intelligence

We are looking for a Head of Client Insight and Business Intelligence to join a forward-thinking, international professional services firm. This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead a comprehensive client insight and business intelligence function that directly informs strategic business development, marketing, and client engagement initiatives.

You’ll lead on the collection, analysis, and reporting of key data from various systems—turning insights into actionable strategies that support growth and high-impact decision-making across the business. You'll work closely with teams across Marketing, Finance, Technology, and Knowledge Management to build a modern, insight-led approach to client engagement and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of client insight and business intelligence strategies

• Analyse marketing, financial, and client data to uncover trends and opportunities for growth

• Build and manage dashboards that track ROI, partner plans, and client engagement metrics

• Support partner performance reviews with robust data insights

• Promote a data-literate culture across the firm, ensuring high-quality analytics and reporting

• Manage and mentor a team of data and insight professionals

Experience

• Proven experience in a senior data analysis, research or client insight role

• Ideally from an international law firm or professional services environment

• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking

• Highly proficient with tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, Microsoft Dynamics, Vuture, HubSpot, Google Analytics, etc.

• Excellent communicator, capable of presenting confidently to senior stakeholders and boards

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams

• Advanced knowledge of analysis/reporting tools and CRMs

• Deep understanding of digital marketing analytics (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing)

• Experience building and managing business intelligence dashboards
