Job summary

The Education and Development Team plays a vital role in supporting the learning, development and professional growth of colleagues across NSFT. We are responsible for coordinating and delivering a wide range of education and training opportunities, ensuring staff have access to the knowledge, skills and resources they need to provide outstanding care.

As a Team Administrator, you will carry out a variety of administrative tasks that support the efficient day-to-day running of the Trust's education and training services. A key part of the role will involve welcoming and supporting course delegates at our Hellesdon training facilities, providing reception duties and ensuring visitors receive a professional and positive experience. You will also work closely with trainers and facilitators, assisting with training room set-up, resources and basic IT queries to help training sessions run smoothly.

Main duties of the job

Working within the Education & Development Team, you will provide a wide range of administrative support to help ensure services run efficiently and effectively. You will be a key point of contact for staff, managing enquiries through the team inbox and telephone service, providing information, responding to queries and directing requests as appropriate.

The role includes setting up learning activities on ESR, producing reports, supporting the funded training request process, maintaining accurate records, raising requisitions through the Trust procurement system and helping to monitor and support the effective use of the Trust's training budget. You will also assist with the maintenance and development of Education & Development intranet content, ensuring staff have access to up-to-date information and learning resources.

You will work closely with a creative and innovative team that is passionate about developing educational and professional development opportunities for colleagues across the Trust.
