Main duties of the job
As EPR HR Business Partner Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of workforces across JPUH, NNUH & QEH aligned with the implementation of the Norfolk & Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (N&WAHC) Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme. This role is critical to its successful delivery, requiring a people focused mindset, strong leadership and a deep understanding of how digital change impacts people, processes and organisational culture.
Formally reporting to the EPR Deputy Programme Director and working closely with the EPR Workforce Lead, you will operate as an integral member of the wider EPR Workforce workstream team. You will lead the HR BP team and provide professional HR expertise in order to positively influence and manage the delivery of all Workforce elements of the NWAHC EPR Programme. This will include strategically planning, leading and advising on HR aspects for the EPR Programme as well as evaluating and guiding the Trust HR Leads on the potential impact of workplace changes. You will also manage the realisation of identified workforce-related benefits by providing professional advice within a legal context on consultation and engagement requirements, as well as undertaking leadership of those aspects.

Job responsibilities
- Opportunity to work on the biggest change programme in the region, which will ultimately help to improve patient experience and outcomes.
- Flexibility to work within a collaborative office space at Norfolk County Hall, at one of the 3-Acute hospitals and from home.
- You will work closely and collaboratively with the wider EPR team, Trust HR Leads and other HR Business Partners, cross-functional teams, trade unions and other stakeholders
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification or equivalent relevant experience
- Chartered MCIPD or equivalent
Experience
- Significant experience, working at a senior management level as an HR specialist
- Specialist knowledge of current employment law
- Previous experience of leading HR related projects
- Significant experience of change management from an HR perspective
- Significant experience of partnership working, including consultation and negotiations within a unionised environment
- A developed understanding of effective HR Practice in a hospital environment
Skills
- Ability to draft well written cases/ reports and business proposals/ change documents
- Able to identify, interpret and analyse complex information such as legal decisions/case law
- Experience of managing staff, inspiring confidence and facilitating their development
- Knowledge, experience and understanding of undertaking TUPE /Staff restructure consultations
