In just 10 months' time, the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative will go live with a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system across our three acute hospitals. This is one of the largest and most ambitious digital transformation programmes ever undertaken across our health system, and we are looking for an exceptional leader to help make it a success.
We're seeking an energetic, experienced and highly credible Transformation and Adoption leader who has project management skills to drive change at scale across our organisations. Ideally, you will have already worked in one of the three trusts and understand the opportunities, challenges and cultural differences which impact the delivery transformational change in the NHS and a programme of this scale.
We're looking for someone who can build relationships, inspire confidence, bring people together, and lead complex organisational change across multiple Trusts, services and professional groups. You'll be equally comfortable managing programme delivery as you are engaging senior clinicians, operational leaders and frontline teams to embrace new ways of working.

Main duties of the job
The Opportunity
Within this role, you will work with the Chief Operations Information Officer to play a pivotal role within the EPR leadership team, supporting the delivery of the Transformation and Adoption workstream across all three Trusts.
Working closely with clinical, operational and programme leaders, you will coordinate and drive key elements of the programme including:
Change management & transformation delivery
Organisational readiness planning
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination & oversight with the Testing Lead
Leadership & culture initiatives
Support Benefits realisation with the Benefits Lead
Process redesign & optimisation
Communications & engagement activities
Workforce preparedness & adoption planning
Management & support of EPR Champions, Super Users & local Change Teams across the Trusts

What You'll Be Doing
This high-profile role will see you:
Lead the delivery of Transformation and Adoption projects and milestones across the programme
Work collaboratively with local Trust Change Leads, Clinical Leads and operational teams to drive adoption and readiness
Coordinate and oversee User Acceptance Testing activities across the three organisations
Develop, support and energise networks of EPR Champions and Super Users
Identify and manage programme risks, issues and dependencies
Provide governance, reporting and assurance to programme boards and senior stakeholders
Support cultural and behavioural change required to embed new digital ways of working
Challenge existing processes and facilitate service redesign opportunities
Build strong, productive relationships across organisational boundaries
Create momentum, engagement and enthusiasm for change throughout the programme lifecycle
Support benefits realisation and ensure transformation outcomes are achieved following deployment.
Who We're Looking For
You will be a transformational leader with a track record of delivering complex change programmes, ideally within healthcare.
You'll bring:
Significant experience in programme and project management
Strong change management and transformation expertise
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
Experience working across organisational boundaries and influencing senior leaders
The ability to communicate complex and sensitive information effectively
Strong facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills
Experience motivating teams and overcoming resistance to change
A structured approach to governance, planning and delivery
A passion for improving services and delivering lasting benefits for patients and staff.
Most importantly, you'll understand that successful EPR implementation is not just about technology. It's about people, behaviours and adoption.
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Accredited project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, APM) or equivalent experience in programme/project delivery
Experience
- Significant experience of leading large-scale transformation, change management, service improvement or digital programmes within a healthcare setting.
- Experience of project management with evidence of delivering major healthcare improvements and managing complex stakeholder environments
- Knowledge and understanding of NHS digital transformation, Electronic Patient Records (EPRs), national digital priorities and organisational readiness approaches.
- Demonstrate understanding of delivering organisational readiness in with different trust cultures.
Skills
- Ability to influence, motivate and engage clinicians, frontline staff and senior leaders to adopt new ways of working and support organisational change.
- Excellent organisational, facilitation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across organisations and professional groups.
