INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES

We are excited to offer this permanent post within North Cumbria Integrated Care's NHS Foundation Trust Integrated Sexual Health Team.

This post will focus on managing patient pathway data, ensuring accuracy of waiting times, manage rotas within service and providing leadership to the administrative team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for providing support for Inform (Electronic Patient Record), accurately undertake general database administration, provide housekeeping, routine tasks, schedule upgrades, fault find and support the expansion and upgrading of the application.

The post-holder will line manager administrative staff, conduct appraisals, allocate workloads and provide training/induction to all staff within service.

Qualifications

Essential
  • oDegree or demonstrable equivalent experience
  • oHighly developed IT skills with the ability to implement a variety of software programmes i.e. Access, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Outlook
Desirable
  • oNVQ 4 in Business Administration or equivalent
  • oECDL/Advanced ECDL

Knowledge and Experience

Essential
  • oPrevious experience of INFORM Sexual Health software
  • oCan demonstrate the ability and/or has experience of leading a project
  • oProven ability to work to non-negotiable deadlines
  • oKnowledge of a wide range of IT and administrative procedures/systems of working
  • oGeneral understanding of relevant legislation e.g. data protection
  • oKnowledge of windows applications
  • oKnowledge of sexual health services
Desirable
  • oExperience of working within NHS/ Local Authority environment.
  • oExperience of researching/gathering information
  • oDemonstrate knowledge of NHS structure and admin
  • oGeneral understanding of business and activities of NHS.
