Apprentice Innovation and Data Assistant

Role
- To assist in developing and promoting the provision and use quality and accurate data, including Geographical information across the Council
- Support the sharing of data across the Council and the wider public sector context to enable decisions to be taken based on robust intelligence
- Help maintain the Councils repository of data and intelligence to ensure the accurate and timely provision of quality data
- To help in providing documentation and maintaining data definitions, data lineage and data governance policies and procedures
- Perform data analysis on Council datasets to enable data driven decisions
Training
Data Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
- An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation
- At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying
- Training will be online and weekly
- On successful completion of the apprenticeship you will gain employment as a Data and Innovation Assistant
