The Trust is seeking to recruit two Implementation Consultants to support the enhanced use of its existing Allocate Optima systems and associated operational procedures. The postholders will play a key role in realising optimal system benefits across a number of defined operational areas, supporting more effective workforce management and service delivery.

We are looking for motivated, proactive, and highly skilled individuals who are able to work independently and use their own initiative. Successful candidates will be confident operating within a busy, complex, and constantly evolving environment, with strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and communication skills. They will be able to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders to drive improvement and embed sustainable change.
The role will include delivering large scale training workshops, day to day implementation and support requirements for a large-scale project ensuring project milestones are comprehensively met, monitored and or tracked with any risks and issues raised to the attention of the Programme Manager.
The successful candidates will report to and receive support from the project's Programme Manager, who in turn will receive support from the Trust's Executive and internal teams with regular reporting requirements.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.

Job responsibilities
As the ESR / Allocate Optima Implementation Consultant for the ESR / Allocate Optima Project Team, the post holder will play a key role in enabling achievement of the aims of the project. The ESR / Allocate Optima Implementation Consultant will facilitate, train, coach and support in the delivery of the project key aim, which is to support optimal use of the Trusts current Allocate Optima systems and its associated procedures to realise optimal systems benefits operationally. They will have to work effectively, meeting the key performance indicators of the implementation model and deliver high standards in project documentation and communication. They will be required to work alongside other team members and report to the Programme Manager on a regular basis, providing updates against project milestones throughout the implementations life cycle.
Location and mobility: Your normal place of work will be split between the different NLFT hospital sites, which will dependent upon your designated work assignments. You will be required to work at any other location of the Trusts interests within the London area, which may include some travelling to appropriate meetings, outside of the county as required.
- Support and assist the PM in any aspect of the project, utilising the PRINCE 2 project management methods that have been incorporated into the implementation methodology to plan, organise, co-ordinate and evaluate their aspects of e-Rostering and SafeCare Live implementation
- Provides project progress and exception reports to the Programme Manager.
- Raises any deviation from the delivery of key performance indicators to the Programme Manager as soon as they occur, so in turn, they can update the Programme Board.
- Communicates with the external provider, manages their aspects of the phase implementations, evaluates and implements. Completing this on an ad hoc basis and against the communication plan
- Provides day to day support to all the areas assigned to them throughout the project life cycle
- Promotes best practice guidelines in managing ward establishments / use of e-rostering solution set by the Trusts KPIs to achieve the most effective use of substantive resources.
- Ensures all relevant information is consulted upon and engaged when configuring the e-rostering and SafeCare Live systems to meet the specified departments requirements.

Educational / Experience
- Degree Level education or equivalent experience (2 years)

- Previous experience within the healthcare setting

- Experience working with project documentation e.g. action logs, highlight reports and ability to take minutes for local consumption / update project documentation
