Client Partner – Technology Consultancy

Essex (3–4 days in office)

£70–£100k basic + OTE c£200k

We're working with a high-growth challenger consultancy delivering software, data & AI, and cybersecurity solutions to clients across financial services, banking, fintech, energy and utilities.

The business specialises in fixed-price, outcome-based programmes and is backed by exceptional delivery, operations and marketing capability. They invest heavily in marketing automation and demand generation, providing warm leads and market visibility to support new business activity, while still rewarding those who can genuinely open doors.

They're now looking for a pure new-business Client Partner whose focus is winning new logos, securing MSAs and SOWs, and building a strong pipeline of net-new work.

The role...

  • Win new client logos across target sectors — this is a net-new business role.
  • Open doors with senior and C-suite stakeholders, supported by inbound and marketing-generated leads.
  • Own the full sales cycle from first conversation through to MSA and SOW signature.
  • Shape opportunities across software, data & AI, and cybersecurity programmes.
  • Work closely with solutions and delivery leaders to create compelling, outcome-led propositions.
  • Build, manage and convert a high-quality new-business pipeline.
  • Hand over won work cleanly to delivery once contracts are signed.

What they're looking for...

  • Proven experience in a pure hunter role within a consultancy or professional services environment.
  • Strong track record of winning new logos, including negotiating MSAs and SOWs.
  • Experience selling complex technology programmes, ideally fixed-price or outcome-based.
  • Confident engaging C-suite and senior technology, data and security leaders.
  • Background selling software, data & AI, or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience selling into financial services, banking, fintech, energy, utilities or other sectors.
  • Self-starting, commercially sharp and comfortable creating momentum.
