Apprentice Senior Project Support Officer

Role
As an apprentice senior project support officer, you won’t only perform routine administrative duties like minute taking – rather, your responsibilities will be inextricably tied to the success of the project you are working on.
Support the shaping of the delivery of a range of key programmes & projects within the Trust portfolio aimed at achieving delivery of the agreed business outcomes.
To support the development and implementation of common project, programme and portfolio management standards and associated tools and documentation; including the Trusts project management framework, PPM tool ‘The Port’, project plans, project documentation, risk & issue management and project reporting.
To facilitate & support the planning of projects, including identifying & monitoring tasks for project resources to support the effective and safe delivery of projects within the portfolio.
To facilitate & support with meetings such as the Trust Programme Board’s, PMO Project Boards and various other board meetings including minute taking and meeting facilitation.
To support the programme/project managers in the delivery of assigned projects, including identifying & documenting risks & issues and supporting planning and reporting.
To provide a first point of contact to record and resolve or refer and monitor queries/requests.

Training
Training will be delivered within the work environment virtually. you will be supported by the team and manager throughout your training.
Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will be eligible to move onto a full Senior Project Support Officer contract of employment. The salary for this will be Band 4 £28,392 per annum.
