Salary: £28,407 - £34,581 per annum

The opportunity has arisen for an Information, Records & Evaluation Support Officer to work within the Evaluation Team, as part of an upcoming trust wide records and knowledge management project. This is a full-time role which spans the three-year project delivery time. Remote working in the office and at home will be available.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised person to help us migrate records and information from our existing document management system to a new system, to support the delivery of a large-scale records and information improvement and migration project. You will be part of the Evaluation Team, working closely with the trust's Knowledge Manager in the delivery of the 3-year project. Alongside this, you will work to support the Evaluation Team, assisting in the administration and analysis. As part of the project and the evaluation team, you will have opportunities to learn new transferrable skills and develop in the role.

Main duties of the job

The key areas of responsibility for this role are as follows.

To support with:

  • Engagement with stakeholders and users as part of project delivery to enable change management.
  • The trust's Knowledge Manager in project delivery, including project administration, training, and guidance in records management.
  • Overseeing all aspects of the delivery of the records management project.
  • Providing guidance to staff on records management as necessary.
  • The trust's Evaluation Team through administration, analysis, and research of the teams various ongoing evaluation work.
  • The delivery of evaluation work across the organisation and support the conduct of evaluations as required.

You will need excellent communication skills and be able to effectively engage with users and stakeholders across the trust. Experience working in or knowledge of records management is essential. Knowledge of evaluation, research, analysis, or project management is desirable. Experience in Microsoft packages, particularly Teams and SharePoint, is essential.

Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.

Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.

We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Essential

Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential
  • Educated to degree level in an appropriate / related Records Management discipline (or a similar qualification), or demonstratable experience working within records management.
  • Valid driving licence for use in the UK and able to access a vehicle OR the ability to travel between sites when needed.
  • Working knowledge or an interest in records/information management and/or archiving, evaluation, and research

Experience

Essential
  • Experience working in and with the Microsoft Office 365 suite, including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Producing meaningful reports.
  • Experience working within a team while also able to work independently and with initiative when required.
  • Experience delivering training or providing training / guidance to others
  • Experience of working in or proven knowledge of Records Management.
  • Experience working within a Project team.
  • Experience in interpreting and analysing complex data methodically, evaluating information and developing recommendations based on the outcomes.
  • Experience of prioritising workload and working to set time parameters
  • Experience of handling confidential information
