Clinical Systems Product Specialist
Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Digital Technology Services Directorate (DTS) of Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT). An innovative and ambitious Directorate that provides the foundation of digital solutions that enable NHFT to be a provider of outstanding and compassionate care. Main duties of the job
This role falls within the Clinical Systems Team. The focus of the role will be to function as a subject matter expert across a variety of NHS clinical systems applications. Also, assisting in the daily administration of the department and to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Clinical Systems Team and its development. The Product Specialist will be a skilled and experienced member of the Digital Technology Services department with the ability to perform tasks unsupervised providing appropriate customer and system support. Candidates must have excellent IT skills and a commitment to leading and developing the team and service and be a strong team player with a flexible attitude to day-to-day work. They should be enthusiastic in maintaining high quality services, ensuring the delivery of electronic patient record system administration, including Smartcard access, end user training, and adaptation of new and existing technologies to meet the needs of clinical services. Previous experience of working within a systems administration or product specialist role would be advantageous. Working within an NHS environment would be desirable but not essential.
This is a fixed term contract post with an end date of 11/01/2027
