Job summary

There is a requirement to travel to Leicester one day per week as part of this role. The post is primarily based at RCI, Haylock House, Kettering with an expectation to be at the Kettering office at least one day each week. Furthermore, the successful candidate will undertake an initial eight-week training period, which will take place in the Kettering office every day during this time.

The Digital Administrator plays a vital role within the Business Services Department, supporting the Digital Technology Services (DTS) Directorate. This position helps ensure the smooth operation of IT services across the Trust by providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support. The post holder will manage day-to-day administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and respond appropriately to complex and sensitive queries, prioritising competing demands to support effective service delivery.

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support within the Business Services Department.
  • Handle complex or sensitive queries and requests.
  • Support the DTS Directorate with basic administration, including annual leave, sickness absence, and overtime claims.
  • Deliver general administrative support using bespoke IT systems.
  • Maintain electronic and paper-based filing systems, ensuring records are accurate, up to date and easily retrievable.
  • Arrange meetings, prepare agendas and papers, take minutes, and track actions to completion.
  • Support the preparation and dissemination of team rotas (including on-call arrangements) and provide cover for Business Services tasks during absence, as required.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely distribution, progress chasing and appropriate escalation where necessary.

This post is based at RCI, Haylock House, Kettering, with a requirement to work in the Leicester & Kettering offices at least 2 days per week. Part-time arrangements would be considered, with a minimum of 25 hours per week.
