IT Support Engineer
Job summary
The IT Support Engineer provides day-to-day technical support for clients and users of computer networks, including infrastructure, file servers, desktop support, client devices and office software. The post holder will be a skilled and experienced member of the information technology function, able to analyse, diagnose and resolve incidents and service requests with appropriate technical support. The role supports the delivery of safe, effective and responsive services by ensuring IT systems and end-user devices are maintained, supported and available to staff across the Trust. Working within Digital Technology Services, the post holder will support business-as-usual activity and projects across the Trust, working closely with colleagues across the department, relevant key staff, senior managers, leaders, clients and end users to maintain technical and professional standards and resolve IT issues effectively. The post holder will work flexibly to meet the needs of a 24/7 workforce and may occasionally be required to work outside core office hours of 08:00-18:00
