Program Manager

Programme Manager – Card Processor Migration (Payments / FinTech)

The Opportunity

We are supporting a major UK financial services organisation on a critical transformation programme to migrate their card processing platform to a new provider.

This is a high-impact, business-critical programme where you will lead the transition of a live card issuing platform, working across technology, operations, compliance and external vendors.

If you’ve delivered card processor migrations or issuing platform implementations, this is a rare opportunity to lead a complex programme end-to-end.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the end-to-end migration of a card processor platform to a new provider
  • Own programme delivery across technology, operations, compliance and external partners
  • Manage relationships with processor vendors, integrators and internal stakeholders
  • Build and execute detailed programme plans, timelines and risk frameworks
  • Oversee integration, testing (UAT), and go-live readiness
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless delivery
  • Provide clear reporting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Ensure a smooth transition into business-as-usual operations post-implementation

We’re specifically interested in candidates with experience in payments infrastructure and card issuing environments.

  • Strong background in payments, fintech, or card issuing environments

  • Track record of delivering complex, multi-vendor programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management across technology, operations, compliance and external partners
  • Solid programme governance, risk and delivery management experience

Desirable

  • Experience in prepaid, FX, or travel money card products
  • Knowledge of Visa / Mastercard issuing, PCI, or payments regulation
  • Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP or MSP

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Lead a large-scale payments infrastructure transformation
  • Work on a live card issuing platform migration
  • High visibility across senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Opportunity to deliver a complex, high-value programme end-to-end
