We’re partnering with a leading technology-driven organisation in Herefordshire seeking 7 Data Engineers to join a growing data and analytics team. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain reliable data pipelines and APIs to support business intelligence, analytics, and application integrations.
  • Collaborate with analysts, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring quality, integrity, and availability of data.
  • Contribute to the development of data models and data architecture best practices.
  • Implement and optimise ETL processes using Python and modern frameworks.
  • Maintain clear and reusable codebases across Python and TypeScript environments.
  • Support data governance, security, and compliance processes across all data workflows.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Active DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance
  • Strong proficiency in Python and API development
  • Experience or strong interest in data engineering, data pipelines, and automation
  • Solid understanding of TypeScript / JavaScript and back-end integration principles
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data transformation techniques
  • Comfortable collaborating in cross-functional technical teams

Desirable:

  • Background in Data Analysis or Full Stack Engineering
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
