Daily Rate: £400 – £450 per day (Inside IR35)
Norton Blake is recruiting a Senior Project Manager on behalf of a leading technology and management consultancy, delivering a high-profile platform and operational change program for a major UK Financial Services client.
This role requires a launch-focused Project Manager to lead end-to-end integrated delivery across Proposition, Operations, and Technology workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrated Delivery Ownership: Build and maintain master delivery plans spanning technology platform development, operational workflows, and business launch readiness.
- Workstream Alignment: Act as the strategic bridge between Business/Operations teams and Platform/Technology delivery leads, translating business requirements into technical outcomes.
- Governance & RAID Management: Drive rigorous project governance—actively managing risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies (RAID), milestone tracking, decision logs, and senior escalations.
- Launch & Business Readiness: Define readiness checkpoints, acceptance criteria, cutover strategy, and post-go-live hypercare support.
- Stakeholder & Third-Party Management: Coordinate cross-functional delivery partners, platform vendors, third-party suppliers, and C-level executive stakeholders.
Required Experience & Technical Skills
- 7+ Years PM Experience: Proven track record delivering complex business and platform change strictly within Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Broader Financial Services.
- Platform & Systems Expertise: Hands-on experience delivering projects centered around core banking systems, wealth management platforms, CRM solutions, or workflow engines.
- Delivery Discipline: Mastery of RAID management, dependency mapping, and structured governance frameworks in launch-critical, fast-paced environments.
- Senior Stakeholder Management: Excellent C-suite reporting skills, producing clear executive dashboards, decision logs, and status updates.
- Consultancy/Client Dynamics: Ability to operate effectively within a consultancy-led delivery model, navigating client dynamics with high autonomy.
