Reports To: IT Infrastructure Manager / Head of IT

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer with a strong Azure background and solid on-premises infrastructure experience . This role is ideal for someone with hands-on expertise across Microsoft technologies, cloud integration, and enterprise systems. You will play a key role in managing and enhancing our hybrid infrastructure stack, supporting business-critical systems, and helping to deliver technology transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage robust, scalable Azure cloud environments
• Implement, manage, and optimise Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Maintain and support Microsoft Dataverse, Logic Apps, and D365 Business Central integrations
• Provide advanced support across Active Directory, M365, Exchange, and Windows Server environments
• Manage hybrid infrastructure including VMware, SANs (iSCSI), and networking hardware (firewalls, routers)
• Administer RDS, SCCM, Intune, and support endpoint management
• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and administrative tasks
• Support SQL Server environments and ensure database reliability and performance
• Troubleshoot Microsoft OS and infrastructure-related issues
• Collaborate with IT Security, DevOps, and Application teams to ensure system integrity and compliance
• Document processes, configurations, and technical designs (including LLDs)

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills:

• Solid Azure experience (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Governance)
• Advanced knowledge of Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Active Directory architecture and GPOs
• In-depth experience with Dataverse, Logic Apps, and Power Platform
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central exposure
• Strong firewall and router knowledge (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco)
• Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Exchange (on-prem and hybrid)
• VMware administration (vSphere, ESXi)
• Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Compliance & Security Centre)
• PowerShell scripting expertise
• Remote Desktop Services and SCCM/Intune management
• Microsoft SQL Server configuration and maintenance
• iSCSI SAN experience
