Murex Business Analyst – Migration
We are seeking an experienced Murex Business Analyst to join a large-scale Murex transformation programme. This is a long-term contract, Inside IR35, with a hybrid working model (two days per week on-site in London).
This role is suited to a Murex-centric BA with a strong understanding of how data, configuration, and workflows operate within Murex, and how they drive P&L, valuation, risk, and trade lifecycle outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a functional Murex Business Analyst with strong understanding of Front Office configuration
- Analyse and explain P&L drivers, valuation behaviour, and trade lifecycle impacts within Murex
- Assess the impact of static data, market data, curves, and system configuration on end-to-end trade workflows, including upstream and downstream systems
- Support Murex migration or upgrade activities, including validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution
- Produce high-quality, structured business analysis documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Work closely with Front Office, Risk, Technology, and Data teams to support delivery of the programme
Required Experience
- Strong, hands-on Murex functional knowledge
- Proven experience analysing static data, market data, curves, and configuration within a Murex environment
- Experience supporting Murex migration or upgrade programmes
- Strong business analysis discipline: structured, precise, and detail-oriented
- Background working with trading, risk, treasury, or capital markets functions
