The Opportunity
We’re hiring a commercially driven Business Development Executive to join a fast-growing, tech-enabled logistics platform transforming how businesses book and manage delivery services.
This is a pure hunter role (90% new business) where you’ll own the full sales cycle — from outbound prospecting through to closing and onboarding new customers. You’ll be selling a platform that enables businesses to self-serve bookings via portal or API, driving automation and repeat usage.

What You’ll Be Doing
New Business (Primary Focus)
- Identify and win new SME and mid-market customers
- Build and manage a consistent outbound pipeline (cold outreach, referrals, networking)
- Run structured discovery calls to understand customer needs, volumes, and commercial potential
- Demonstrate platform capabilities and onboarding journey
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact to close
- Convert opportunities into contracted or recurring revenue
Account Growth (Secondary)
- Manage and grow an initial portfolio of active accounts
- Increase customer usage and drive repeat booking behaviour
- Upsell additional services and higher-margin solutions
- Identify churn risks and proactively retain accounts
Platform Adoption
- Drive self-serve usage via portal and API integrations
- Reduce manual booking dependency
- Work cross-functionally with operations to resolve customer friction
Performance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM (HubSpot) records and pipeline forecasting
- Track revenue, pipeline value, and activity metrics
- Own your numbers — revenue, margin, and conversion rates
What Success Looks Like
- 15–30 new active trading accounts onboarded
- Consistent pipeline with accurate weekly forecasting
- Strong conversion into recurring or contracted revenue
- High levels of platform adoption and repeat usage
- Clear contribution to revenue and margin growth
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7+ years in B2B sales or business development
- Proven track record of winning new business and hitting targets
- Experience owning the full sales cycle independently
- Strong outbound capability and pipeline generation
- Comfortable selling operational or tech-enabled services
- Solid CRM discipline (HubSpot, Salesforce or similar)
- Commercial awareness — pricing, margin, and deal structure
- Confident, resilient, and proactive approach to closing deals
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience in logistics, courier, freight, or transport sectors
- Background in SaaS, marketplace, or platform sales
- Exposure to API or systems integration conversations
- Experience selling self-serve or usage-based platforms
