Title: DevOps Engineer (Software Engineering)
Location: Hybrid | Newcastle (3 days per week onsite)
Day Rate: £501.55 PAYE

Our client is seeking a new team member to join a high-impact program focused on modernising large scale systems and services.
Responsibilities:
- Be SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
- Define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals.
- Conduct regular assessments of cloud security controls to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations.
- Responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Develop innovative security solutions that align with the overall cloud strategy.
- Lead training sessions to enhance team knowledge on cloud security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
- Stay updated on the latest cloud security trends and technologies to continuously improve the security framework.
Experience:
- Expert proficiency in DevOps
- Advanced proficiency in Git
- Advanced proficiency in Cloud Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security Architecture, GitLab CI/CD, and Managed Cloud Security Services
