Are you a hands-on Integration Solutions Architect ready to own the complex integration strategy for one of the UK's most critical national infrastructure programmes?

Our client—a game-changing technology operator in the smart energy/metering space. This is not just a job; you’ll be enabling the next wave of smart, green solutions across the nation.

🔑 The Challenge: Business Critical National Programme

We need an expert to define and deliver the technical blueprint for a business critical national programme. This involves transitioning and integrating crucial systems away from existing partners and leveraging innovative use of Cloud architecture and modern integration patterns.

🎯 What You'll Be Doing:

• Own the Integration Strategy: Define the end-to-end integration strategy and solutions across internal systems (e.g., Enterprise Data Platform) and external SaaS solutions.
• Hands-on Technical Design: Produce high and low-level technical designs (application, data, security) and lead the implementation of APIs, middleware, and messaging.
• Cloud Architecture Leadership: Work extensively across AWS and Azure environments (S3, Redshift, Entra ID, Azure Data Factory, etc.), ensuring designs adhere to best practices and standards.
• Design Assurance: Provide design assurance and interoperability for 3rd party integrations and migrations, ensuring alignment with overall enterprise architecture.

• 5+ Years leading enterprise-grade integrated solutions.
• Proven experience in fast-paced, lean, and agile/DevOps environments.
• Deep technical understanding across AWS & Azure cloud platforms and services.
• Expertise in integration technologies, particularly REST APIs, API management, and middleware.
• A strong focus on balancing innovative solutions with security, cost, and scale.

💰 Salary & Package

• Manchester: Up to £84,000
• Plus: Car Allowance 10% + 20% Overtime (OT) Bonus.

Location: Hybrid (8 days/month onsite) in Manchester

Contract: 12 Month FTC (Possibility of Extension).
