SC Cleared Data Architect – Azure - Remote - Competitive Day rate

We’re looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a a central government department, designing scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem.

🔍 What you’ll be doing

• Designing relational and dimensional data models to industry best practice
• Defining data architecture patterns, standards, and governance
• Translating business requirements into scalable Azure-based solutions
• Advising on modern data patterns (e.g. medallion architecture)
• Working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders across the programme

✅ What we’re looking for

• Strong data modelling expertise (relational + dimensional)
• Proven experience as a Data Architect (not just engineering)
• Solid knowledge of Azure data platforms (e.g. Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS, Fabric)
• Ability to design data patterns aligned to Azure
• Active SC Clearance (DV a bonus)

📍 Details

• Remote-first with occasional London workshops
• 6-month contract with likely extension
• Competitive Day rate
