Recruitment Consultant – Hedge Fund Technology Search

We are hiring a Recruitment Consultant who is either looking to specialise in a high-value niche or accelerate their progression in a more intellectually demanding market. This role offers genuine long-term upside.
The Opportunity:
You’ll work on mandates covering front-office trading technology and core infrastructure roles across some of the most sophisticated investment firms globally.
Depending on your experience level, you’ll:
- Own or support end-to-end search mandates
- Build and manage high-value client relationships
- Map and engage elite technology professionals (software engineers, data engineers, quant developers)
- Develop deep market intelligence across hedge fund technology teams
- Drive revenue through strategic candidate and client engagement
- Contribute to the growth of a developing technology search team
This is a specialist market with high barriers to entry, which means strong long-term earning potential for consultants who build credibility and expertise.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Strong academic background: degrees in finance, computer science, engineering, or related disciplines are advantageous
- Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, and research is desirable
- Exceptionally organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships quickly
- Curious about technology and motivated to specialise in the hedge fund and trading space
