The Role

We’re supporting a fast-growing international SaaS company as they expand their commercial team in the UK with the hire of an Account Executive.

The business provides a well-established platform used by organisations to build and manage engaged professional communities. Their customers span sectors including higher education, non-profit organisations and global enterprises, with hundreds of clients already using the platform worldwide.

As part of the UK sales team, you’ll manage inbound opportunities from organisations already interested in the product, guiding prospects through the sales process and converting demand into new customers.

This is a consultative sales role focused on understanding customer needs, delivering tailored demonstrations and successfully closing new business.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and qualify inbound enquiries from prospective customers
  • Run tailored product demonstrations and discovery conversations
  • Guide prospects through a consultative sales process from qualification through to close
  • Understand customer challenges and position the platform as a strong solution
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across a range of organisations
  • Manage opportunities and maintain accurate pipeline tracking within the CRM
  • Work closely with marketing, product and customer success teams
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual revenue targets

🌟 Required Skills and Experience

  • 3 to 6 years’ experience working as an Account Executive selling SaaS products
  • Proven experience closing new business within a B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience selling a technical SaaS solution and delivering product demonstrations
  • Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to understand customer needs
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
  • Highly organised with strong pipeline and opportunity management
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing technology company

📦 The Package

  • £55,000 to £65,000 base salary
  • 100% OTE commission structure
  • Hybrid working with one day per week in the London office
