Role Overview

The Tech Architect – Network will be responsible for delivering advanced network architecture and operational support for the client’s enterprise network environment. This role ensures high availability, security, and performance across WAN, LAN, and wireless infrastructure, while driving innovation and compliance with the client’s managed network services framework.

Key Responsibilities

Network Architecture & Design

  • Develop and maintain high-level and low-level designs for WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi networks.
  • Ensure alignment with the client’s target architecture and security standards.
  • Act as the first point of technical escalation for all network-related issues.
  • Own Priority 1 (P1) incidents and drive associated Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to closure.
  • Lead all technical conversations with the customer, ensuring clarity, confidence, and timely resolution.

Operations & Support

  • Oversee day-to-day network operations including WAN, LAN, and wireless services.
  • Manage incident, problem, and change processes per ITIL guidelines.
  • Provide engineering support for IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission) requests.

Service Management

  • Collaborate with the client’s Service Integrator and third-party providers for SLA adherence.
  • Manage IP addressing, DHCP, patching, and lifecycle activities.
  • Ensure compliance with BCDR (Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery) and security processes.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive adoption of SD-WAN, SD-LAN, Wi-Fi 6, and SASE solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and operational excellence.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the onsite technical point of contact for the client’s network initiatives.
  • Support technical project management and governance reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in enterprise networking (WAN, LAN, WLAN) and SDN technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and modern network platforms.
  • Familiarity with ITSM processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Knowledge of security compliance and risk management in large-scale networks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.
  • SD-WAN and Wi-Fi 6 certifications.
