ON Data Staffing is working with a specialist data consultancy to hire an AI / ML Manager.

This is a senior, hands-on consulting role, leading client engagements and delivering production-grade machine learning and AI solutions.

The Role

You will work directly with client stakeholders to translate complex business problems into scalable ML and AI solutions, owning projects end-to-end while leading small to mid-sized delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead machine learning and AI initiatives from problem definition to production
• Architect and deploy end-to-end ML and GenAI systems
• Provide technical leadership across delivery teams
• Build feature pipelines, model workflows, and deployment systems
• Manage client relationships and identify growth opportunities
• Mentor engineers and contribute to practice development

Requirements

• 5+ years deploying ML systems in production environments
• Experience across major cloud or data platforms
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI systems
• Strong stakeholder communication and consulting skills
• Experience leading projects or small technical teams

Nice to Have

• Prior consulting or professional services experience
• Deep expertise in GenAI and LLM performance optimisation
