Our client, a leading investment manager, is seeking an IT Operational Support Specialist to deliver hands-on technical support while ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. They are looking for someone who has solid IT experience with a proven track record of long term commitment in previous roles.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support

  • Provide first- and second-line IT support across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and secure VPN access.
  • Manage end-to-end IT infrastructure – cloud, network, and endpoint environments in the UK and internation offices.
  • Oversee enterprise platforms supporting investment operations, including Enfusion (PMS/OMS) and Aladdin (Risk Management).
  • Co-ordinate IT hardware procurement, device configuration, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Support meeting room AV systems, hybrid meeting technology, and video conferencing tools.
  • Liaise with managed service providers (MSPs) and maintain IT asset registers, documentation, and user guides.
  • Ensure cybersecurity and compliance standards are met.

Facilities Support

  • Oversee daily office operations, facilities, and supplier coordination.
  • Manage relationships with building management, telecoms, and office service providers.
  • Support logistics for meetings, visitors, and office events.
  • Assist with vendor management, IT procurement, and budget tracking.

About You

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • A strong technical background with experience in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and ITSM.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with executive/VIP-level stakeholders.
  • Resilient, proactive, and highly organized – comfortable juggling IT and office operations.
  • Previous experience in financial services or investment management is a plus.
  • Someone who enjoy a varied role combining IT, operations, and strategic projects.
  • A collaborative team player, who works well with others.
