ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsibilities
- Design Delivery: Deliver design work across the app and website, taking responsibility for defined initiatives from discovery through to implementation.
- User-Centered Design: Utilise user research techniques to understand user needs and pain points, translating these insights into actionable design solutions. Specifically, understand qualitative and quantitative research techniques and have experience using them to influence the direction of the design and the product.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate everything from app updates, complex feature releases to new concepts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to bring designs to life, maintaining a balance between user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain a consistent design system and UI component library.
- Agile Environment: Thrive in a constantly moving environment, adapting to changing priorities and timelines.
FCA Compliance & Consumer Duty

- Awareness of financial promotion regulation
- Completing all mandatory compliance training within allotted timeframes
- Following the FCA Conduct Rules;

- You must be open and cooperative with the FCA, PRA and other regulators
- You must pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly

ABOUT YOU
Ways of Working
- Action orientated – you want to roll up your sleeves and help the team move their metrics and improve our customer’s experience
- Solid design execution skills with a keen attention to detail and a deep understanding of usability principles
- Ability to take ideas all the way from conceptual thinking to building full features with developers
- Happy to deal with the ambiguity of a scale up and the pressure and direction changes that entails
- Ability to manage a high pace of delivery together with accurate levels of attention to detail
- Creative designer with a customer and design thinking led approach
Qualifications & Experience
- Broad end to end product design experience, ideally in a B2C environment
- Able to design apps and website pages in Figma or similar
- Front end coding awareness or experience is advantageous but not essential
