Finance Assistant Apprentice (Open GI)

In this role you will be providing support across a wide range of financial and administrative duties within the Finance team at Open GI, the Finance Assistant Apprentice will gain a Finance Assistant Level 3 AAT Diploma in Accounting.

Role

  • Support the posting of purchase ledger invoices
  • Support raising purchase orders for the business
  • Posting the credit card and employee expenses
  • Support the creation of sales invoices
  • Preparing payment requests on Lloyds Link business banking
  • Posting and allocating cash receipts onto ledger
  • Maintaining cash books for Open GI
  • Completing month-end ank and balance heet reconciliations with investigation of variances
  • Assisting in the statutory audit process including sample collation.
  • Supporting the Credit Control Team

Training

  • Assistant accountant Level 3

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

After the successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity to join the team as a permanent Finance Assistant.
