Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer looking to join a fast-growing Managed Services Provider where you'll work with modern technologies, varied customer environments and a supportive technical team?

We're looking for a talented 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to provide high-quality technical support to a diverse portfolio of business customers. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your Microsoft, networking and cloud skills while working alongside experienced infrastructure specialists.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop, server and infrastructure issues.
  • Provide technical support across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
  • Support networking technologies including switches, firewalls, VPNs and wireless solutions.
  • Manage incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring technical issues.
  • Complete routine maintenance, software deployments and system updates.
  • Escalate major technical issues where appropriate while maintaining ownership.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Monitor customer environments and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Mentor and support 1st Line Engineers to improve first-time fix rates.

About you - You'll ideally have:

  • Previous 2nd Line IT Support experience (ideally within an MSP)
  • Microsoft Azure, Intune and Microsoft Defender
  • Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Microsoft 365 and Exchange
  • Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN technologies
  • Firewall technologies such as Meraki, Fortinet, SonicWall or Zyxel
  • Remote support tools and ITSM platforms
  • PowerShell scripting (desirable)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
