Dev Ops Apprentice

Origin8tive are seeking a DevOps Apprentice to join our team, providing support in cloud infrastructure management, system monitoring, and security implementation. This role involves automating tasks, collaborating with team members, and documenting processes. 

Role

Ideal candidates will have a passion for technology, basic knowledge of cloud computing and coding languages, and excellent communication skills. This is an opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, contributing to software delivery across a variety of Agile projects.

  • Assist in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor performance and health of various systems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to refine software delivery processes and improve efficiency.
  • Document processes, and procedures maintaining an accessible and well-organised knowledge repository.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in the DevOps field, actively seeking opportunities for learning and development.
  • Provide support to development teams in deployment and troubleshooting activities.
  • Assist in identifying areas for process improvement in Agile deliveries.

Training

  • Dev Ops Level 4 
  • Cirencester College 

Whilst the majority of training will take place at the employers' premises, there will be occasional attendance required at Cirencester College.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there could be the chance of further employment.
