The Role

Some product jobs are really project management jobs with a better title.

This isn’t one of them.

You’ll be close to the trading problem: how European equity orders behave, where execution costs appear, how algorithms perform, and what clients need when they’re trying to trade better.

You’ll work on a sophisticated algorithmic execution product used by hedge funds, asset managers, CTAs and banks. The product sits across execution algorithms, TCA, pre-trade analytics, trading workflows and client-specific optimisation.

You won’t just write roadmap tickets. You’ll help shape the product from real market feedback, client pain points, order flow behaviour, venue changes and performance data.

You’ll also sit close to sales, research, engineering and clients, so this will suit you if you like being the bridge between trading, product and technology.

You’ll get to:

  • Build out a European equity algorithmic trading product.
  • Turn client trading problems into product requirements.
  • Use TCA and performance data to improve execution outcomes.
  • Work with research and development teams on algo behaviour and product improvements.
  • Support client conversations where deep product and market knowledge matters.
  • Stay close to European market structure, venues, liquidity and regulation changes.

What makes you a great fit:

  • You understand European equity market structure properly, not at headline level, but how it affects execution.
  • You’ve worked with algorithmic trading, ideally around execution algos, product design, trading workflows, quant research, electronic trading or execution consulting.
  • You’re strong with TCA and understand what drives trading costs.
  • You can analyse data using Python, R or similar.
  • You can explain complex trading and technology ideas clearly to clients, sales teams, researchers and engineers.
  • Bonus points if you’ve coded production software, worked with buy-side or sell-side relationships, or understand post-trade/back-office workflows.
