Data Analyst Data Analyst role within a well-established UK food and drink co-operative Focus on analytics, automation, dashboards and data quality Belfast based, full-time permanent Salary £30,000 to £40,000 About the Company Our client is a well-established, fast-moving consumer goods business with operations throughout the UK and Ireland, supplying products across both markets and exporting to over 45 countries worldwide. The Role A hands-on Data Analyst position supporting the delivery of a wider data strategy. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand data requirements, build reporting tools and dashboards, and identify opportunities to automate and improve existing processes. This is a role for someone with a sharp analytical mind, a practical approach to problem solving, and the communication skills to translate data insights into clear business value. Key Responsibilities Document and develop an understanding of business processes, data flows and reporting requirements Collect, validate, cleanse and monitor datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and insights that support business decision making Design, develop and maintain user-friendly reports and dashboards aligned to business requirements Apply best practice in data visualisation to ensure clarity, usability and consistency Develop tools that automate existing business processes in line with the data strategy Support stakeholders with data analysis using statistical techniques where appropriate Contribute to the development and maintenance of a single source of truth for business data What You'll Need Essential: Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent in Business, IT, Statistics or a related field Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups across a business Experience working with large datasets and applying data lifecycle management principles Experience in data visualisation and report development (Power BI & SQL) Competent in defining and reviewing data management policies, standards and controls Ability to identify risks and define plans to control or remediate them Strong organisational and time management skills Desirable: Experience working to Agile methods Experience with Microsoft DevOps, SQL Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio and database management Experience working with Microsoft Azure Why Apply?
