About the Role
As Business Systems Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on a wide range of digital and technology projects that improve efficiency, traceability, and performance across a multi-site operation. From system rollouts and factory automation to sustainability-focused initiatives, you’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver real-world outcomes. You’ll manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholders—ensuring every project delivers measurable value on the ground.
Responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of digital and tech projects across production sites
- Managing scope, resources, budgets, and timelines with precision
- Collaborating cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and tech vendors
- Rolling out systems such as ERP, MES, SCADA, and digital quality tools
- Supporting traceability, automation, compliance, and sustainability goals
- Facilitating discovery workshops and defining project requirements
- Reporting on progress, risks, and ROI to senior leadership
- Ensuring stakeholder engagement and smooth post-launch adoption
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing digital or tech transformation projects
Required Skills
- Excellent project management skills and tools (Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project)
- Experience in fast-paced, complex environments with changing priorities
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead change, drive improvement, and communicate the ‘why’ clearly
- A passion for food, innovation, and sustainability
Preferred Skills
- PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certifications
- Experience in food manufacturing or smart factory environments
- Knowledge of ERP, MES, or automation systems (Business Central a plus)
- Familiarity with compliance standards like BRC, HACCP, and cybersecurity best practices
