Location: Northern Ireland (Hybrid) | Full time | Permanent

£55,000 - £65,000

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams. You will play a key role in shaping data platform solutions, turning business needs into clear, actionable requirements and supporting delivery end to end.

What You’ll Do

• Lead stakeholder workshops to define business needs

• Translate objectives into technical specifications and user stories

• Document functional and non functional requirements

• Analyse data sources, flows, and schemas

• Work with tools such as Jira and Confluence

• Support solution design, prioritisation, and Agile delivery

• Coordinate UAT testing and release planning

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation

Must Have Skills

• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation

• Experience delivering data or analytics projects

• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria

• Strong documentation and communication skills

• SQL for data validation and profiling

• Understanding of Agile delivery frameworks

Nice to Have

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or modern data platforms

• Knowledge of data modelling and metadata management

• Experience in regulated industries such as banking

• Familiarity with CI CD and DevOps practices
