Senior Network Engineer

100% Remote

We're proud to be partnering with our client to find a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer for a fully remote role supporting enterprise-grade infrastructure and cloud solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, has deep hands-on experience, and is ready to lead mission-critical initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect, deploy, and support secure and scalable enterprise networks.
• Lead implementation and support of Palo Alto firewalls, including Prisma Access and Prisma Cloud.
• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot complex BGP-based routing environments.
• Support and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructure, working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deliver and maintain high-performance network routing and switching solutions.
• Implement and manage VXLAN & EVPN, or SDN solutions such as Cisco ACI or VMware NSX.
• Administer and troubleshoot key network services including IPSEC, DHCP, and DNS.
• Configure, manage, and monitor Juniper routers and switches (strong Cisco experience also considered).
• Support load balancing technologies — HAProxy preferred; F5, A10, and Kemp also applicable.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure performance, security, and availability of infrastructure.
• Contribute to automation, documentation, monitoring, and disaster recovery planning.

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering and infrastructure design.
• Strong Palo Alto experience, including Prisma Access / Prisma Cloud.
• Proven expertise in BGP — end-to-end design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Solid knowledge of IP networking, routing/switching, and associated protocols.
• Proficiency with VXLAN & EVPN, or modern SDN alternatives (ACI, NSX).
• Experience working with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of IPSEC, DHCP, and DNS services.
• Solid background with Juniper network hardware; Cisco acceptable for top-tier candidates.
• Hands-on experience with load balancers, especially HAProxy, but F5, A10, and Kemp also considered.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with network monitoring or IPAM tools like Kentik, NetBox, or Portnox.
• Scripting and automation experience using Git, VS Code, Docker, or Terraform.
• Certifications such as PCNSE, JNCIS, JNCIP, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
