Are you an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for PHP and WordPress development?

Our client is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their growing development team. You'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing existing WordPress and PHP applications, while contributing to the design and build of new features and digital products.

This is a fully remote position offering flexibility, career growth, and exposure to a wide range of modern technologies.

• Develop, maintain, and optimise websites and web applications built with PHP and WordPress.

• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver clean, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.

• Implement new functionality, integrations, and plugins to improve system capabilities.

• Contribute to backend improvements and performance optimisation.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.

• Learn and contribute to projects involving mobile and modern web technologies (training and mentoring provided).
  

• Proven experience in PHP and WordPress development.

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general front-end principles.

• Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases.

• Experience with version control (e.g. Git).

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow into mobile or full-stack development.
  

• Experience with modern PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Symfony).

• Exposure to React Native or other mobile development tools.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrations.
