CA Gen, Tuxedo, Oracle, PL/SQL Unix Engineer - MUST HAVE SC CLEARANCE- Telford and remote - 6 months+/RATE: £413 per day inside IR35

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a CA Gen, Tuxedo, Oracle, PL/SQL Unix Engineer.

For this role you will need to be onsite in Telford 2 days per month.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join the IDMS/COTAX team within Tax Admin.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CA Gen, Tuxedo, Oracle, PL/SQL, and Unix.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL and Gen applications.
Work effectively with external stakeholders across incident, problem, and continuous improvement forums.
Support Implementation Management and contribute to deploying enhanced applications to live environments.
Manage clone activities, including clone restores, robotics coordination, clone testing, and patch upgrades.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth integration of new features and maintenance release.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot application performance issues.
Participate in code reviews and promote best practices.
Engage in batch related improvement forums to reduce failures and improve run times.
Provide occasional out of hours support for overnight batch failures and live release activities.
Work with Audit representatives to meet audit obligations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to meet Disaster Recovery requirements.
