This is a hybrid role, based 80% onsite in Bristol.

Role Description:

Key responsibilities for a Forescout Network SME typically involve:
Design and Configuration: Leading the design and implementation of Forescout CounterACT products and other modules to meet an organization's specific security and compliance needs.
Network Access Control (NAC): Managing secure connectivity and access control policies for all connected devices (wired and wireless), including IT, IoT, IoMT, and OT/ICS assets.
Policy Enforcement: Developing and enforcing granular, dynamic security policies to ensure compliance and implement zero trust principles, dynamically assigning devices to appropriate network segments or applying access control lists (ACLs) based on Real Time assessments.

- Troubleshooting and Optimization: Providing high-level support and troubleshooting for Forescout deployments, which often involves working with network protocols (802.1X/NAC, DHCP, HTTPS, TCP, NetFlow) and optimizing system performance in large-scale environments.
- Integration and Orchestration: Integrating Forescout with a wide array of existing network infrastructure (Switches, Routers, wireless controllers, Firewalls) and third-party security tools (SIEMs, ticketing systems, vulnerability management platforms) through APIs to enable coordinated, automated threat responses.
- Visibility and Monitoring: Utilizing Forescout's agentless discovery and classification capabilities to provide continuous, Real Time visibility and risk assessment of all assets on the network.

Required Skills and Knowledge

A Forescout Network SME possesses expertise in:
- Forescout Technology: In-depth knowledge of the Forescout 4D Platform, including components like eyeSegment, eyeSight, and eyeControl.
- Networking Fundamentals: A strong understanding of core routing, switching, wireless, and network security technologies.
- Security Frameworks: Knowledge of best practices for network segmentation, zero trust security architecture, and regulatory compliance mandates.
- Diverse Environments: Experience managing devices across hybrid, multi-vendor, and potentially air-gapped system
