High Integrity/Safety Software Engineer - Bath and remote - 1-2 months+

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a High Integrity/Safety Software Engineer.

For this role you will need to be onsite in Bath 2 days per week.

Please find some details below:

Essential
Knowledge and experience of working on safety related and/or high integrity software projects.
Experience in working to relevant industry functional safety standards such as DO-178, IEC 61508 and EN50128 etc.
Experience in relevant methods, tools and languages.
Knowledge of the software development V-model life cycle.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with others
Self-motivated and able to use initiative
Organised, good time management and prioritisation
Methodical approach to work, with good attention to details and strong logic and reasoning skills
Willingness to learn new languages, skills and techniques.

Desirable
Degree qualified in software engineering or related/relevant subject.
Experience in Ada, SPARK, static analysis and formal methods.
Chartered Engineer and member of the IEEE or BCS.
Experience in at least one of the following markets: aerospace, transport, defence, rail, automotive.
