One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Salesforce FullStack Developer.

For this role you will need to be onsite in Knutsford, Cheshire 2-3 days per week.

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, Apex, and RESTful API development. The role involves designing scalable Salesforce solutions, building high quality integrations, and contributing to automated testing and CI/CD practices across development workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Build and maintain Back End components using Java and related frameworks.
Develop and document RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, security, and reusability.
Create and maintain API specifications using OpenAPI Specification (OAS)/YAML.
Build integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs or custom integration frameworks.
Write high-quality, testable code using unit testing frameworks (Apex Test Classes, JUnit, Mockito).
Manage version control, branching, and code reviews using GitLab.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot application issues and perform performance optimizations within Salesforce and integrated components.
Ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices and compliance with governor limits.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of development experience combining Salesforce (Apex, LWC, Visualforce) and Java.
Strong experience in RESTful API design and Back End service development.
Hands-on proficiency in OpenAPI (OAS) and API documentation in YAML.
Strong understanding of unit testing approaches for both Salesforce and Java components.
Practical expertise with GitLab, branching strategies, and code review workflows.
Proven experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Familiarity with integration patterns, data modelling, and relational databases.
Clear understanding of Salesforce best practices, platform limitations, and performance considerations.

Good-to-Have
Salesforce certifications (PD1/PD2, Integration Architect, etc.)
Experience with message queues or Middleware tools
Knowledge of Front End frameworks beyond LWC (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
