Full Stack Developer

You didn't ask to be born, but you’re here now.

You're in the infancy of your career as a Full-Stack Developer, wondering how you'll make a difference in the world and find meaning in your life.

Your skills can change lives and whole industries, but many get bogged down in developing stuff that doesn't change anything except their company's profits.

Don't do that.

Instead, help the UK and the world plot a greener future and achieve the ambitious Paris Agreement target of net zero by 2050, which over 140 countries set in 2016.

Join a team of 20 .NET and Full-Stack Developers, part of a 105-person company advising the government and organisations like Ofgem and National Grid on navigating an ever-changing energy puzzle.

You'll work across multiple teams on a mix of greenfield projects with many new ideas and tools, including intelligently incorporating AI into all their current tools and tech.

You'll also upgrade and maintain their existing tools, models, and platforms. For example, you'll help them combine all their tools into one larger Azure-based offering with modules, initially focusing on their market-leading energy trading platform.

They always use the latest technology, currently Vue 3.0 and .NET 6/7 (Upgrading to .NET 8 now), and they'll move to Vue Vapor as soon as possible.

You can shape your career here and enjoy lots of freedom in helping the company meet its strategic goals. You can help set priorities, choose to interact with clients, and work on things that suit your skills and interests.

You'll enjoy a 35-hour working week and a benefits package reflecting the level of fairness and care this company is known for.

Lastly, inclusivity is more than just a PR soundbite. For example, they achieved 13 DEI awards in the last five years and their LGBT+, women's, multicultural and well-being networks tackle significant issues and unite their people.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
