This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced customer service or sales support professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships and delivering an exceptional service experience.
Working closely with Sales, Operations and Logistics teams, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts, processing orders and ensuring customers receive first-class support at every stage of the order journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and account management
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using SAP
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfilment and resolve issues quickly
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service delivery
- Monitor order progress and proactively communicate updates to customers
- Support the sales team with account administration and customer management activities
- Produce and maintain reports using Excel and other business systems
- Handle customer queries, complaints and escalations in a professional and solution-focused manner
- Maintain accurate customer records and order information within SAP and internal systems
- Support forecasting, reporting and other commercial activities as required
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within Customer Service, Sales Support, Internal Sales, Account Management or a similar role
- Strong relationship-building skills with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Experience working within the Food Manufacturing, Foodservice or Retail sectors
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
- A proactive, positive and solution-focused approach
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- A collaborative team player who is happy to support colleagues across different areas of the business
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience using SAP is essential, ideally SAP S/4HANA
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of order processing, supply chain and logistics functions is desirable
- Experience working with key retail customers would be advantageous
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce and interpret reports
