Join Our Team as a Senior IT Engineer (FTC)!
Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in the entertainment industry? Our client is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences and is on the lookout for a Senior IT Engineer to support their innovative operations.
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (3 Months, could be extended) Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 annually (FTE) Working Pattern: Full Time, Office Based
Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery & Support
- Manage global IT operations, including helpdesk, endpoint management, and internal tools support.
- Design frictionless support experiences by leveraging automation and data-driven service improvements.
- Ensure high uptime and performance for core productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Monday.com).
Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Oversee the IT infrastructure stack, including device management and identity management platforms.
- Lead lifecycle management for hardware and software assets, ensuring smooth procurement and renewals.
- Ensure operational excellence across AV/VC systems and IT readiness for internal events.
Required Experience:
- Proficient in administering Google Workspace in a business environment.
- Hands-on experience managing Microsoft endpoints and Intune.
- Practical experience with Apple devices using Jamf.
- Familiarity with Notion for documentation or knowledge management.
- Proven experience providing meeting room and AV support.
- Experience supporting events or live operational environments.
- Comfortable delivering on-site, user-facing IT support.
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across macOS, iOS, and Windows environments.
- Calm and service-oriented under pressure.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Team-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Bonus Skills:
- Infrastructure design experience, developing network policies and architecture.
- Technical leadership capabilities, mentoring junior engineers.
- Knowledge of system security and monitoring best practises.
- Ability to produce detailed technical documentation and operational manuals.
