Principal Audio Software Engineer

The Oho Group are looking for an experienced audio software engineer to lead the development of advanced audio within the telecoms industry. Promising technical leadership and an evolving challenge at the forefront of communications technology, this is a really exciting role to get onboard.

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop real-time audio processing algorithms and DSP pipelines
• Build and optimise technologies such as noise reduction, echo cancellation, and beamforming
• Ensure high performance, low latency, and reliability in embedded systems
• Provide technical leadership, guide design decisions, and mentor engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio solutions into products
• Support development from concept through testing and delivery
• Analyse, debug, and optimise software performance
• Contribute to innovation, research, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, computer science, DSP)
• Strong experience in real-time audio software or DSP development
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems
• Knowledge of audio algorithms (e.g. AEC, noise reduction, filtering)
• Experience with performance optimisation and debugging
• Ability to lead technical work and projects
