Senior Baseband Engineer | Cambridge

The Oho Group are seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer with experience in ATEX / Intrinsic Safety product design to join an innovative engineering team within the telecommunications space in Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities

• Design ATEX-certified intrinsic safety circuitry
• Develop embedded microprocessor-based hardware systems
• Design low-power and power-supply architectures
• Support verification, EMC testing, and compliance activities
• Produce technical documentation and design specifications

Essential Skills

• Proven ATEX / Intrinsic Safety design experience
• Strong embedded hardware and microprocessor design knowledge
• Experience with low-power electronics and serial interfaces (I²C, I²S, UART, USB)
• Good technical documentation and communication skills
• Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience

Desirable

• RF or mixed-signal hardware knowledge
• Audio hardware or Embedded Linux experience
