We’re partnering with one of Europe’s leading technology investment firms as they make a key hire into their growing Product & Engineering team.
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial environment where technology is used to create internal tools, automate workflows, and build data products that directly support investment decisions and portfolio growth across some of Europe’s most exciting startups.
The role will suit someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working across a broad data stack, and operating in a fast-moving, high-impact environment.
What you’ll be working on:
- Building and maintaining data pipelines and internal data products
- Integrating APIs and external datasets into proprietary platforms
- Developing scalable services and workflow automation tools
- Improving performance, scalability, and operational efficiency across the tech stack
- Collaborating closely with product, operations, and investment teams
Tech stack / experience:
- Strong Python engineering experience
- Experience with GCP, BigQuery, dbt, Cloud Functions
- Exposure to DevOps / Infrastructure as Code (Terraform ideally)
- Experience building across the full data stack
- Previous startup or scale-up experience preferred
Ideal background:
- 2+ years engineering experience
- Strong STEM academic background
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and solving unstructured problems
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
