Engineering Manager- £90,000 - £115,000 p/a + stock options

Engineering Manager - would you like the opportunity to work with one of the leading tech for good companies in the UK, currently going through a period of growth?

The Company

A market leading tech for good company with a presence across Europe. They have highened offices in central London and usually meet up once or twice a week. They'll be continuing to scale over the next 12 - 18 months.

The Role

• Ability to combine leadership with regular hands on coding (can be up to 60% depending on business requirements)
• Take leadership of the cross functional development team and inspire though sharing knowledge and mentoring
• Work closely with other teams within the business to translate and communicate development plans
• Manage a close knit team of engineers and encourage their development through code reviews and performance coaching, whilst maintaining a positive and progressive environment
• Identify potential development bottlenecks and take ownership of the technical roadmap
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time

Requirements

• Over 3 years of management experience
• Background in leading small teams of engineers
• Strong knowledge of hands on coding
• Experience with Ruby or React / Next.js
• Previous background in a start-up / scale-up environment
• Strong communication with ability to clearly translate development ideas
• Experience in leading, coaching and mentoring
